With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Alice Butler Mullis of Mint Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on May 10, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Henry and Florence Ethel Butler. She is survived by: her husband Donnie Clifton Mullis; her sons, Clifton Mullis (Monica) and Christopher Mullis (Rita); her grandchildren, Ryan, Leah and Benjamin; and her sisters, Jackie A. Caudle of Raleigh, Jean B. Jones of Cookeville, TN and Josephine B. Earp of Monroe. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
