It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Nelson Nowlan (Mint Hill, North Carolina), born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, O. Grier Nelson and Verdie Nelson; her husband Raymond Nowlan; her sons, Norman Nowlan and David Nowlan of Indian Trail; and her grandsons, Matthew Nowlan of Warner Robbins, GA and Christopher Nowlan of Locust, NC..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Hospice of Union County.
