She was predeceased by: her parents, Dexter Lee and Lessie Wilson Williams; her husband Charles S. Cox; and her siblings, Helen Wilson, Lois Efird, Mary Sigmon, Frankie and Donnie R. Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Cox Rudisill (Jeff) and Charlene Cox Niels (David); her grandchildren, Thomas Niels and Sarah Niels Spurrier (Robert); her siblings, MaeBelle Anderson and Melvin Williams (Betty); and her brother-in-law Clifton Sigmon. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
