It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Roland Byrum of Mint Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth A. Byrum (Pierce) and Robert J. Byrum; his wife Judith Lynn (Bomershiem); and his stepson Robert DiPietro. He is survived by: his siblings, Joanne Berg and Dennis Byrum; his children, Robert C. Byrum (Mary) and Terri Ward (Blake); his stepdaughter Jennifer DiPietro-Foster (Chris); his grandchildren, Justin Buckberry (Marlee), DaMonn Brand (Emily), Michael DiPietro, Bella Foster and Callie DiPietro; and his great grandchildren, Owen, Zoey Buckberry, Aubrie, Uriah, Josiah and Chloe.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Memory Gardens (8901 Lawyers Rd, Mint Hill, NC 28227).
In lieu of flower's expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to VIA hospice, Disabled Veterans of America or any animal rescue.
