He is survived by: his wife Gladys Chamberlian Phifer; his siblings, Brady Lee Phifer, Parks Phifer, Bob Phifer, Harold Phifer, Blondee Phifer and Nellie Phifer Fink; his son Steven Keaton (Teresa) of Charlotte; his sisters, Peggy Thomas (Wayne Carr) of Mint Hill and Mary Phifer Hozier (Scott Hozier) of Mt; his sister-in-law Dorothy Bowers Phifer of Mint Hill; his nephew Jerry Wayne Phifer (Becky) of Peachland; and his niece Sherry Kepley (Lane).
