She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bascom Julius Carelock and Mary Jane Carelock; her husband Roy Lee Godwin; her daughter Lisa Townsend; her siblings, Julian, Julius, Cromer Carelock, Brady Carelock, Essie Edwards and Eloise Little; her son-in-law Keith Gardner; her grandmother Madie; her children, Deloris Gardner, Teresa Baucom (David) and Jeffery Godwin (Beth); her son-in-law Dean Townsend; and her grandchildren, Chris Gardner (Kim), Tracy Kent (Matt), Katie Belo (Duncan), Jason Townsend (Christy), Amanda Harvell (Brad), Justin Godwin (Courtney), Heather Barton (Kurtis Kovel) and Christa D'Abramo (Chris). She was also cherished by 16 great-grandchildren; and many cherished friends.
