She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Willie Johnakin and Lucinda Johnakin; her daughter Barbara; her grandmother Lee; her children, Golden Girls and Joel Olsteen; her grandchildren, Thomas III (Gessie), Nicolette (Rob) and Suzette (Kevin); and her great grandchildren, Nina, Miles, Sedona, Emma, Thomas IV and Kyle. She was also cherished by animal lover, she adopted several cats.
