It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John T. Burnette Sr. (Mint Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Burnette and Loma Burnette; his wife Mary Burnette; his daughter Shelia Burnette; and his grandchildren, John Burnette III, Todd Burnette and Kyle Burnette.
He is survived by: his sister Della Bynum (Gene); his children, Tommy Burnette (Donna), Rick Burnette (Sandy) and Brittany Lackey (Taylor); and his grandchildren, Kim Burnette, Shelley Watts, Jeremy Burnette and Sommer Farmer. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
