He is survived by: his wife Brenda Teague; his sisters, Linda Teague Shelby, Patsy Teague Owens and Leanne Garmon Spencer; his daughters, Susan Teague Schussler (Burt), Mary Beth Teague Ingle (Chris) and Courtney Morgan Teague; his stepchildren, Paige Holtzendorff Howe and Brett Holtzendorff (Shelley); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Landon, Cannon, Lauren, Dylan, Jackson, Hunter and Jacob; and his great grandchild Sawyer.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Joe's name to Hospice of Union County, 700 W. Roosevelt Blvd. Monroe, North Carolina 28110.
