She was predeceased by: her parents, Corley Louis Catoe and Katie Lenora Barrett; her former husband Marvin Ray Burgess; her husband John Freeman; her siblings, Catherine Tillman (Pat Tillman), Frank Catoe and Marlene Starnes (Ron Starnes); and her niece Patty Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Roger Burgess (Holli Burgess), April Burgess (Kevin Coulter), Jerry Thomas and Michelle Thomas; her grandchildren, Jessica LaPrade (Ray LaPrade), Shelby Burgess (Mitchell Starnes), Zane Burgess, Zoe Hibbett, James Weathers and Rick Weathers (Holly Weathers); her great grandchildren, Aiden Weathers, Mackenzie Weathers, Logan Weathers and Chloe Weathers; her nieces and nephews, Al Tillman (Lisa Tillman), Eric Starnes (April Starnes), Mitchell Catoe, Bobby Catoe (Lorrie Catoe), Scott Simpson, Renee Tillman, Kelly Sexton (Jamie Sexton) and Veronica Covington (Jim Covington); and her friend Linda Blalock. She is also survived by her friends and family.
