We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2023, at the age of 94, James Kellie Hagwood of Mint Hill, North Carolina, born in Raleigh, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kellie Hagwood and Lillian Irene Brown Hagwood; his wife Grace Margaret Campbell Hagwood; his son James Kellie Hagwood, Jr.; and his siblings, Derle Hagwood, Ray Hagwood, Henry, Eileen Poe (Ellen), Patricia Hagwood, June Smith and Julia Byrd.

He is survived by: his sons, Steve Hagwood (Silvia) and Michael Hagwood; his granddaughters, Shawn Parker (Eric) and Jolynn Hagwood; his sister Linda Hagwood; and his great grandchildren, Thurston Thompson, London Thompson, Nova Thompson, Marilyn Ducret and Arwen Hagwood-Loux. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
