It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hubert Cordett Kennedy Jr. (Mint Hill, North Carolina), born in High Point, North Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Hubert C. Kennedy Sr.; his grandparents, Byerly and Byerly; his uncle Dale; and his aunt Becky.
He is survived by: his mother Sylvia Kennedy (Byerly); his significant other Rhonda Beeson; and his caregiver Amy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered for giving everyone a nickname that captured that person perfectly. And he was a minimalist - Hugh couldn't understand why anyone would need to have more than 4 rolls of toilet paper in the house. And then Covid hit.
