He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Arthur McDonald and Agnes Mae Snyder McDonald; his sisters, Frances, Teressa, Dorothy, Barbara, DeDe and Harriet; his nephew Samuel Conrad; his wife Sue; his children, Ben (Melissa), Perry Davis (Megan), Callie (Ryan), Jenna and Sarah (Matt); his grandchildren, Colin, Peyton, Andrew, Chayton, Lucas, Hudson, Jacob and Hattie; and his siblings, Jimmie Mae, Arvie Jean, Ray, Richard, Dave and Billy. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
The family asks that any donations be made to the Mint Hill Historical Society, where George worked and played.
