She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner Edward and Mary Emily Bowers Anderson; her daughter Helen Porter Wiles; her siblings, David Anderson and Mildred Joines; her husband Paul Edwards; her grandson Billy Ray Porter, Jr.; and her great grandchild Daniel Porter.
She is survived by: her brothers, Turner Anderson (Evelyn) and Charlie Anderson; her sons, Billy Ray Porter (Jan), Douglas Edward Porter (Brenda), Thomas and Rhudy Porter (Beth); and her grandchildren, Tina Caviness, Steven Porter, Jennifer Grant, Marie Porter and Thomas C. Porter. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church at 517 Corporation St, Wilkesboro, NC 28697 in Frances' name.
