She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Washam and Lena Thompson Washam; her son Mark; and her siblings, Grey, Harry, Woodrow, Cecil, Vera, Hazeline Overcash, Annie Dingler and Rachel Irvin.
She is survived by: her sons, Baron (Kim) and Roger (Sue) of Sylva, NC; her caregivers, Ashley Waters, Judy Gaston, Kim Reynolds, Pati Hanno, Rachel Principato and Tricia Waters; her son Tom (Jan) of Waxhaw, NC; her daughter-in-law Kathy Jo Bartlett; her grandchildren, Chris, Taylor, Meredith, Sam, Matt, Clint and Leah Carpenito; and her friend Martha Bartlett. She is also survived by ten great-grand-children.
