He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Benton and Gail Benton; and his siblings, John Benton and Viola Benton. He is survived by: his siblings, Geneva Benton Whiting and Lee Benton; his children, Erich Benton, Brett Benton-Werner, Casey, Jenafer Benton and Carol; his grandchildren, Meagan Smith and Matthew Dailey; and his nephew Michael Benton. He is also survived by the youngest of five siblings and has two brothers and two sisters.
