He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lee Curlee and Ethel Marie Smith Curlee; his wife Doris Ruth Curlee; his siblings, Zula Little and James Lloyd Curlee; and his daughter-in-law Judi Nelson Curlee.
He is survived by: his son Ron Curlee of Mint Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Matthew Curlee, Sarah Curlee and Daniel Curlee (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Hudson and Evelyn Curlee; and his sister Gertrude Coble.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital.
