It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Crump Hill of Mint Hill, North Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louie Crump and Lela Crump; her children, Eddie and Debbie Wilson; and her brother Louie "Bub" Crump.
She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Hill Jr.; her son Richard Hill (Jeannine) of Mint Hill; her grandchildren, Richard Jr. (Jana), Michele Altenkirch (Aaron), Sean Wilson (Eryn) and Cody Wilson; her great grandchild Alexandria; and her sisters, Sadie Phillips, Nancy Mullis, Pat Spivey and Judy Dixon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In honor of her church family and the care hospice provided to her in her final days, Carolyn's family respectfully requests any donations and memorials be made in Carolyn's name to Wilson Grove Baptist Church or Novant Hospice.
