We are sad to announce that on February 6, 2024, at the age of 84, Carol Ann Stansbury (Mint Hill, North Carolina), born in Memphis, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Newton and Mildred Newton; and her brothers, Isaac "Bubba" Newton, Terry Newton and Gerald Newton.

She is survived by: her husband William "Stan" Stansbury Jr.; her sons, William "Will" Stansbury III (Diane) of Arlington, MA and Todd Stansbury (Jodie) of Portland, OR; her grandchildren, Kami Peoples, Randall Stansbury, Jayson Stansbury and Nolen Stansbury; her great grandchildren, Kyla Peoples and Kamryn Peoples; and her siblings, Mildred Talley (Ralph), Linda Muckleroy-Holt, Kenny Newton (Gwen), Glen Newton (Gloria), Roy Newton and Ricky Newton.
