He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul and Evelyn; his son Timothy Petro; his sister Lynne Anderson; and his brother-in-law Jerry Anderson.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Chris; his wife Diane; his children, Brian Petro (Diana), Nikki Howard (David), David Petro (Heather) and Mary Petro Smith (Glenn); and his siblings, Larry Petro (Donna), Kathleen Mathewson (Chris) and Scott Petro (Denise). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
