She was predeceased by: her husband Edward P. Simmons; her daughter Tamara Simmons Fincher; and her parents, Freeman Brady and Inez Tucker Brady. She is survived by: her son Donnie Lee Simmons (Lauren); her stepchildren, John Simmons (Wanda) and Betty Simmons Maddry (Jimmy); her grandchildren, Nevaeh Simmons, Edward Fincher (Cassie) and Angela Wolkow (Tim); and her stepgrandchildren, Molly Simmons Ellington (Keith) and Fallon Maddry Stallings (Matt).
