She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Wallace and Lenora Griffith Wallace; her husband William Lewis Whitley; her sons, Walter and Melvin; and her grandson Jay Whitley.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Walter Reid Whitley, Kassy Whitley, Alan Whitley (Beth) and Christopher Whitley (Lindsey); her sisters, Helen McClain and Marie Belk; and her daughter-in-law Barbara Whitley. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
