Atress Wilson Canup Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Atress Wilson Canup Jr. of Mint Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on December 28, 2021, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Atress W and Lois Rachael Cochrane Canup Sr.; and his sister Caroline Canup. He is survived by: his wife Katrin; his daughter Lois Helms of Stanley, NC; his grandchildren, Maddison and Jake Helms of Stanley; and also Zachary Schwarz of Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
The last couple of years were very hard for him as COVID limited many of the social events he enjoyed, but he was blessed to spend Thanksgiving and Christmas this year with some of his family before his untimely passing.
