She was predeceased by: her parents, Link Robinson and Evelyn Robinson; and her husband Howard L. Ford. She is survived by: her sister Jeannine Robinson Mayberry; her nephew Dale L. Mayberry (Brenda); and her nieces, Neecie Mayberry Herndon (Andy), Cindy Ford, Cathy Ford and Carol Ford Carriker (Scott).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Humane Society of Charlotte or her beloved church, Philadelphia Presbyterian Church in Mint Hill.
