It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Burgess of Mint Hill, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Priscilla; his parents, Rev. Robert and Dorothy Burgess; and his brother Ronald. He is survived by: his grandson Eagle Scouts; his wife Kathryn; his sons, Christopher (Anya), Jonathan, Benjamin (Julie) and Timothy (Rebecca); his brothers, Thomas (René), David (Michael) and Mark (Nettie); and his aunt Kay. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

For those who attend in person, face masks will be required and we will be socially distanced in the church building.

In lieu of flowers, Alan's wishes were to have donations made to the local Boy Scouts of America, Mecklenburg County Council. Please see below for the donation link and mailing address.
