We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2021, at the age of 85, William Thaxton of Milton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Rahsaan Davis; and his sisters, Essie Mae Hughes and Hannah Thaxton. He is survived by: his daughters, Adele Thaxton of Delaware and Cynthia Muhammed of New Jersey; and his siblings, Rena Bell Scott and Oscar Crisp of Danville, Virginia. He is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
