We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Walter Lea Thomas IV of Milton, North Carolina, born in Danville, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Walter Lea Thomas III. He is survived by: his mother Marian Thompson Thomas of Milton; his wife Julie McSherry Thomas; his son Walter "Lea" Thomas V of Winston-Salem, NC; his siblings, Marc C. Thomas (Diane), Marilea Thomas Compton and Elizabeth Thomas Pressley; and his sister-in-law Ginny McSherry Foster (Andy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, a private celebration of his life will be conducted on Saturday, January 30, 2021, with the Reverend John Upton and Reverend Adam Benson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Walter Lea's memory to Milton United Methodist Church in care of John Y. Thomas: 8085 Hwy 62 N Milton NC 27305 and/or Hospice Home: 914 Chapel Hill Rd Burlington NC 27215.
