He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mary Lipscomb Thaxton of Milton and Joe L. Thaxton, Jr.; his children, Antoine Thaxton of Augusta, Georgia, Davita Thaxton Coles of Danville and Tatyanna Thaxton of Kentucky; his stepdaughter Cynita Worthington; and his sisters, Ethel Mae Thaxton of Milton and Pamara Annette Lea (Joseph) of Milton. He was also cherished by other relatives, and cherished friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 2 to7 p. m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time. (Per CDC Guidelines: Facial Masks are required).
