He is survived by: his wife Maggie Louise Lipscomb Vinston; his children, Kirk Alfred Vinston Jr. (Shyrelle) of Greensboro, NC and Cordelia Vinston of Milton, NC; and his sister Nellie Vinston Lee (Harry) of Greensboro, NC. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
