He is survived by: his wife Edith Farmer Royster of Semora; his daughter Linda R. Johnson (Keith) of Danville, Virginia; his sister Geneva Royster Blackwell of Milton; his nephew Elder James "Jimmy" Royster; his brothers-in-law, John Farmer (Linda) of Reidsville, Lee Farmer (Nannie) of Milton and Warner Hodges Farmer (Rose) of Semora; his sisters, Virginia Elliott of Milton and Alease Leftwich of Danville, Virginia; his grandchildren, Darrius J. Johnson of Danville, Virginia, Jaquia L. Johnson of Danville, Virginia and Jaime J. Rodgers (Yorick) of Danville, Virginia; and his great grandchildren, Logan Rodgers and Greyson Rodgers of Danville, Virginia. He is also survived by his grandchildren he was an awesome grandfather.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Saturday, January 30, 2021 from 2 to 7 p. m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time. (Per CDC Guidelines: Facial Masks are required and Social Distancing). Graveside Services for Deacon Ivie Lewis Royster will be Tuesday, February 2, 2021, 1:00 PM in the Word Of Faith Church Cemetery, Milton, NC.
