He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKinley Goods and Sylvia Jane Goods; his sons, Dallas M. Goods, Ronnie Goods and Benjamin Y. Goods; his stepdaughter Carolyn Lipscomb; and his siblings, Willie Goods and Geneva Goods.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Goods; his daughters, Sylvia Faydean Johnson (Ray) of Florida, Deannia Lousie Opabola of Orlando, Sharon Denise Dixon (Kenny) of Texas and Carolyn Farshelia Damptey of Texas; his stepdaughters, Rosa Kate Farmer (Hodges) of Milton and Floressa Lipscomb of Milton; his sons, Clifton Leon Goods of Durham, Dennis Alphonso Goods (Patricia) of Alton and Charles Sylvester Goods of Danville, Virginia; his stepson Acie Stewart, Jr. (Dorothy) of Durham; and his sisters, Bishop Mary Black of Roxboro and Dorothy Lott of Rochester. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time.
