She was predeceased by: her husband William J. Royster; her son George Royster; her parents, George Brandon and Lizzie Brandon; and her siblings, Maxine Johnson, Nannie Mae Hughes, Emma Louise Fountain, Clarence Brandon, Jesse Brandon and Willie Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Floyd Royster (Augustine) of Durham, NC, James Royster (Wanda) of Jacksonville, NC, Janie Luck (Gene) of Danville, VA, Bobby Royster (Patricia) of Roxboro, NC, Sharon Legette (Lee) of Sutherlin, VA, Julia Graves (Don) of Milton, NC and Gerald Royster (Amy) of Danville, VA; and her sister Odella McCain of Milton. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
