With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emmett Nelson of Milton, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Nelson and Mandy Stone Nelson; and his siblings, Odell Nelson, Nellie Nelson, Pauline Nelson, Jessie Nelson, George Nelson, Alonzo Nelson, Sr., Johnny Nelson and Roosevelt Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Sallie Ann Nelson; his daughters, Peggy Chambers (Boyd) of Timberlake and Susan Sanderson (Stephen) of Roxboro; his sister Janie Pressley of Prospect Hill; his grandsons, Justin Chambers (Kira), Travis Chambers (Miranda), Tre Sanderson and Cody Sanderson; and his great grandchildren, Chase, Cole and Shepherd Chambers.
