He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie G. Carter, Sr. and Pauline Rosser Carter; and his brother Jerome Lee Carter. He is survived by: his children, Jennie Williams of Greensboro, Earl Tyrone Williams (Deneen) of Leasburg, Irene Jennelle Harper (Will) of Yanceyville and Amy Nicole Williams (Marcos) of Thomasville; and his siblings, Wayne Dairwane Rosser (Helen) of Blanch, Charlie G. Carter (Tamara) of Richmond, Virginia, Rebecca Carter of Greensboro, Annette Crisco (Houston, Sr.) of Leasburg and Ruby Anderson of Yanceyville. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Friday, March 5, 2021 from 2 to 7 p. m. in the Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time. (Per CDC Guidelines: Facial Masks are required).
