She is survived by: her children, Phillip Stewart of Danville, VA, Carl Stewart of Danville, VA., Gerald Stewart of Milton, NC, Randy Stewart (Sarah) of Chatham, VA., Alicia Stewart of Danville, VA., Debra Stewart of Milton, NC, Jean Elkin (Rick) of Danville, VA. and Patricia Stewart of Burlington, NC; and her sisters, Sherrill Barrett of Blanch, NC, Ponzelle Mebane of Burlington, NC, Phyllis Poteat (Larry) of Blanch, NC, Virginia Jeffries (Colin) of Graham, NC and Gloria Amos (Jennings). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
