Thomas and Ester Lea-Thomas Bridges; his sister JaVera Brynn Thomas; his grandparents, David and Mary Lea; his nephew DeAndre Thomas; his aunts and uncles, Helen Thomas, Rosetta Watkins, Angela Cunningham (Henry), Robert Lea (Gloria), Annette Elliott (Connell), Tommy Lea (Sharon), John Thomas, Jr., Paul Lea (Shaunell), Kevin Lea (Beverly) and Sheila Kirby; and his close friend Catina Jones.
