He was predeceased by: his parents, John Major Jeffers, Sr. and Annie Lea Jeffers; his wife Fannie B. Jeffers; and his siblings, Ruth Ethel Williams, Christine Louise Chandler, Esther Davis, John Major Jeffers, Jr., Clarence Jeffers, Alexander Jeffers, George Jeffers and Allen Jeffers.
He is survived by: his daughters, June Helena Jeffers of Yanceyville and Allison Jeffers of Milton; his stepdaughters, Benita Torsell of Whitemarsh and Monica Broadnax of Maryland; his sons, James Anthony Jeffers of Burlington and Carlton Jeffers of Danville, Viriginia; his stepsons, John McCain of Alexanderia and Tyrone Lea of Durham; and his siblings, Doris Jeffers of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Warner Jeffers of Bridgeport, Sylveen Jeffers of Savannah Georgia and Thomas West Jeffers of Milton. He is also survived by grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and many cherished friends.
