He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Rogers and Lula Snipes Rogers; his wife Delores Hopkins Rogers; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Poteat, Ella Blanche Taylor, Ruffin Bedford Rogers, Willie Dewey Rogers, Preston Lewis Rogers and Howard Shepard Rogers.
He is survived by: his sons, Charles Vincent, Jody Everet of Ohio and Corey Lyn of Alaska; his sisters, Marie Antoinette Williams of Roxboro, NC, Annie Louise Moore of Roxboro, NC and Helmer Semethod Pass of Leasburg, NC; his sister-in-law Matilda H. Hartsfield of Missouri; and his close friend Marylene McCain. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews.
Due to the constraints of public gatherings during the COVID-19 outbreak a viewing will be Friday, November 13, 2020 from 2 to 8 pm in Juanita S. Fulton Memorial Chapel of Fulton-Walton Funeral Home with a limit of 10 people at a time.
