She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elijah and Theney Finley Conard of Haywood County, NC.; her daughter Betty Ballard (David); her grandsons, Keith Edmundson and Barry Edmundson; her great grandchildren, Eric Mahaffey and Mathew Mahaffey; and her wife Lige Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Lewis Franklin (Nola) of Hoopers Creek, David Franklin (Peggy) of Hendersonville, Johnny Franklin (Carolyn) of Hendersonville and Carolyn Edmundson (John) of Mills River; her grandchildren, Diane Mahaffey, Debbie Garren, Patricia Brown, Marie Anders, Mark Ballard, Leisa Stack, Jamie Franklin, Tammy Koch and April Summey; her great grandchildren, Michael Mahaffey, Chandler Garren, Benjamin, Anna Stack, Eliizabeth, Quinn Franklin, David, Violet Summey, Elysbeth, Maci and Mallory Mahaffey; and her pets, Eli and Benjamin.
