She was predeceased by: her parents, Scott Burnette and Pauline Burnette; and her sister Sandra Clontz. She is survived by: her husband Paul Burke; her daughters, Paula Roberts (Frank Conrad) and Angie Ownbey (Gene); her grandchildren, Amanda Mills (Dustin), Amy Hipps (Sheldon), Matthew Roberts, Brett Ownbey (Kaylee), Katie Fleury (Paul), Hannah Cole and Luke Ownbey (Madison); her great grandchildren, Samson, Ella, Natalie, Symon, Penelope, Isla and Lily; and her siblings, Pat Shipman (GL), Sandy Case (Ronnie) and Buford Cook (Joyce). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
