It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Danny Keith Smith of Mills River, North Carolina, who passed away on December 31, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Gene Smith and Betty Ann Bryson Smith; and his wife Ruby Gillespie Smith of Brevard. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashley Cooper (Ricky Lawrence) and Abbey Fueger (Patrick); his grandchildren, Madeline, Owen Cooper, Henry, Brooks and Cynthia Fueger; and his siblings, Carla McElmurray (Jeff) and Tony Smith (Paula). He is also survived by many loving aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that a donation be made in his memory to the Wounded Warrior Project in his name to support wounded Veterans.
