He is survived by: his wife Linda Smith (Willis) of Horseshoe; his children, Benjamin Russell Smith of Charlotte, Caren Hutchinson (Smith) of Hendersonville and Jarrod Benjamin Smith of Arden; his granddaughters, Emily, Leah Hutchinson and Amanda Dover; and his great grandchild Braydon Carter Dover. He is also survived by 2 brothers; 1 sister; and a number of nieces and nephews.
