He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Isaac and Beulah Bledsoe Lovette; his children, Karen Y. Lovette and Robert E. Lovette; and his siblings, Jimmy N. Lovette Sr., Louise L. Howell, Linda L. Spears, Fay L. Foster, Betty L. Church and Georgia L. "Bobbie" Summerlin.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Maltba Lovette; his children, Kevin Lovette (Christy) of Creedmoor, Kimberly L. Reeves (Jimmy) of Millers Creek and Gail Shumate (Ron) of Millers Creek; his grandchildren, Nathan Reeves, Chase Clayton, Tiffany R. Minton (Brandon), Trisha Lovette, Chelsea Lovette, Haley Lovette and Courtney Shumate; his great grandchildren, Kayley Minton, Maci Minton and Cage Triplett; and his brothers, William T. Lovette of Millers Creek and Johnny W. Lovette of Millers Creek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
