He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilmore Harrold and Ethel Harrold Harrold; and his siblings, Beulah Taylor, Nancy Greer, Jarvis Harrold, Ralph Harrold, Ed Harrold and Roby Harrold.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Bumgarner Harrold; and his siblings, Edith Felts of North Wilkesboro, Della Shumate of Lincolnton, Ruby Waller of North Wilkesboro, Betty Foster (Tommy) of Hays, Fay Foster (Larry) of Hays, Walter Harrold (Alene) of Hays, Wade Harrold (Maye) of Millers Creek and Jerry Harrold of Hays. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
