She was predeceased by: her parents, Philo Phillips and Josephine Bruce Phillips; her husband Jimmy Norman Minton; and her brother-in-law Jerry Jennings. She is survived by: her son Bradley Norman Minton of Millers Creek; her grandson Braxton Minton of Millers Creek; and her siblings, Glenda Morgan (Lewis) of Newton, Reba Jennings of Moravian Falls, Wendell Phillips (Emma) of Statesville and Darrell Phillips (Joyce) of Hickory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Goshen Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 6510 West NC Hwy 268.
