She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gaither Miller and Dolly Bea Spears Miller; and her brother William "Don" Miller. She is survived by: her husband William Monroe Cleary; her sons, Dannie Johnston of Millers Creek and Ronnie Miller (Amy) of Ashe County; her siblings, Fay Miller of Millers Creek, Jennie Warren Evazella Elledge of Millers Creek, Janet Hayes of Millers Creek, Jo Ann Miller of Millers Creek, Nancy Church of Millers Creek, Virginia Brown of North Wilkesboro, Bonnie Minton of Wilkesboro, James Miller of Millers Creek, Gaither Dean Miller of Virginia and Billy Miller of Millers Creek; and her stepchildren, William Cleary of Traphill and Brandy McMenis of North Wilkesboro. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great grand children.
