He is survived by: his daughters, Shelia Trevathan (Jason) of West Jefferson and Sharon Brookshire of Elkin; his grandchildren, Jeremy Trevathan of West Jefferson, Jessica Trevathan of West Jefferson, Megan Shepherd (Joe) of North Wilkesboro, Ashlynn Morales (Alex) of Moravian Falls, Seth Brookshire of North Wilkesboro and Ethan Mick of Elkin; and his sister Betty Brooks of Hays. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
