He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lindberg, Sr. and Mary Maxine Johnson Crews; his wife Elizabeth Gail Lane Crews; his daughter-in-law Julia Mash Crews; and his sisters, Teresa Watson, Sherry Scott and Barbara Rash.
He is survived by: his children, Steve Crews of Millers Creek and Charley Staley (Doug) of North Wilkesboro; his grandchildren, Zach Staley, Olivia Crews and Victoria Crews; his siblings, Mary JoAnn Scott (Gene) of Boomer and David Crews of Purlear; and his brother-in-law Bryan Lane (Lorrie) of Raleigh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
