She was predeceased by: her parents, George Alonzo Taylor and Elwood Othelia Pilkenton Taylor; her daughter Sharon Carey; and her siblings, Junior, Hubert, Gwyn, Donnie Taylor and Mary Meadows.
She is survived by: her son John Carey (Terri) of Millers Creek; and her siblings, Juanita Roten (Dayton) of Millers Creek, Leona Stegall of Charlotte, Nancy Severt (Jack) of Wilkesboro and Dean Taylor (Joyce) of Millers Creek.
