She was predeceased by: her parents, Solomon G. Parsons and Stella Griffin Parsons; her former husband John L. Dancy; her husband Len R. Miller; her great grandchild Cody Wingler; her sisters, Teeler Greer, Colar Greer, Clare Friesland, Lucy Winebarger, Hazel Dawson and Katie Vickers; and her son-in-law John D. J. D. Griffin.
She is survived by: her daughter Glenda Griffin of Millers Creek; her sister Mildred Lovette of Wilkesboro; her grandchildren, Bobbie Wingler (Robert) of Millers Creek and Clayton Griffin of Millers Creek; her great grandchild Faith Wingler of Millers Creek; and her caregivers, Charles Patrick Crosby III and Sandy Carter.
